I offer psychotherapy in Missoula for adults, families, couples and children. My approach is holistic, focused on your thoughts, emotions, interpersonal relationships, creative spirit and embodied response to the “givens” of your life. An important aspect of our work is to be “present” with each other, including inner thoughts and reactions to our work together. I have more than thirty years experience in providing, supervising and teaching the practice of psychotherapy.
I offer counseling regarding a variety of diagnoses and concerns, including anxiety, depression, loss (including ambiguous loss), developmental and relational trauma, couples counseling, living with chronic illness, work with foster and adoptive families and children, grandparents caring for grandchildren, and military families.
I am a Level I and Level II practitioner of Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, a Circle of Security International Parenting Facilitator, have postdoctoral training in Attachment Theory, and am developing advanced skills in Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples.
